Snakes creep me out! Over the weekend my dad did some work in the yard and he found this slippery little critter hiding in the weeds. He says it's a good snake because it kills off rodents and other bad snakes. But if you ask me the only good snake is a dead snake...yuck!

My Snap-Happy Photo Blog
I love photography! I took a photography class in 2010 with my grandmother's Pentax K1000. It was definitely the easiest SLR camera to learn the basics of photography on. Now I am a proud owner of a Nikon D3100. It's a pretty spiffy camera, but it's going to take me a little while to learn all of it's capabilities. Follow my blog as I advanced my knowledge in the beautiful art of photography.

Pelican Yacht Club Billfish Tournament
I ventured out with my camera early in the morning on Saturday January 8, 2011 to catch the sunrise. When I was leaving Hutchinson Island I noticed a couple of yachts heading out of the inter-coastal. I pulled over to get a picture of them and realized it wasn't just a couple but a whole school of yachts heading out to sea. It was quite a site to see.
Christmas at Pinewood
These photos are from my New Year's Day visit to the Bok Tower Gardens.

Each room's decorations were themed differently, but they were all very beautiful.
Loved this tree. Not sure if it's because of the bright colors, or the fact that it's in a bathroom. |
A Snowman In Florida?!? He's made of Styrofoam of course! |

The early bird not only gets the worm,
She also gets beautiful shots of the sunrise.
