SNAKE!!!

Snakes creep me out! Over the weekend my dad did some work in the yard and he found this slippery little critter hiding in the weeds. He says it's a good snake because it kills off rodents and other bad snakes. But if you ask me the only good snake is a dead snake...yuck!

Pelican Yacht Club Billfish Tournament

I ventured out with my camera early in the morning on Saturday January 8, 2011 to catch the sunrise. When I was leaving Hutchinson Island I noticed a couple of yachts heading out of the inter-coastal. I pulled over to get a picture of them and realized it wasn't just a couple but a whole school of yachts heading out to sea. It was quite a site to see.

Christmas at Pinewood

These photos are from my New Year's Day visit to the Bok Tower Gardens.
Pinewood Estate is decorated by volunteers every year.

  Each room's decorations were themed differently, but they were all very beautiful.

 

Loved this tree. Not sure if it's because of the bright colors, or the fact that it's in a bathroom.
